David Babu and his wife Abigail were inspired to start a ministry in Hyderabad, India. In the year 2001 David and his wife took a hiatus from their work life in America and along with their two daughters traveled to Hyderabad.
By God’s provision Sunshine Ministries was Established in 2001. Sunshine Ministries’ mission is to meet the needs of the impoverished children and families within and around the city. Focusing on thirty-six economically challenged villages, The Good Shepherd School & Home offers educational opportunities and provides care to the needy children. The children find comfort and hope in a loving environment. The ministry provides an invaluable service to the community via 28 sewing centers and a computer training center as well. Sunshine Ministries continues to reach and share the gospel through love and compassion.
David and Abigail Babu continue to support the ministry and make yearly trips to check on the welfare of the people.
